Membership

Built by the companies shaping the field.

PrecisionCardio™ is member-governed. Companies do more than fund PrecisionCardio: they surface what they are seeing, determine the shared priorities, and contribute the expertise that moves the work forward.

01Who joins

Biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies.

Membership is designed for therapeutics companies working across precision cardiovascular medicine.

Professional societies, patient organizations, academic institutions, clinicians and other experts participate as strategic partners or collaborators when their expertise is relevant to a member-selected priority. They are not a second class of membership.

02What membership means

Members support PrecisionCardio through annual dues and take part in its governance and program of work.

  • Surface recurring challenges they are seeing across the field.
  • Determine which issues warrant collective attention.
  • Contribute expertise through member-led working groups.
  • Help shape PrecisionCardio's direction and initial program of work.
03How priorities become work

Members set the agenda.

  1. 1
    Surface

Members bring forward recurring observations from across diseases, specialties and care settings.

  2. 2
    Select

Members determine which issues become shared priorities through PrecisionCardio's governance process.

  3. 3
    Convene

A member-led working group forms around the priority, bringing in the relevant external expertise and strategic partners as needed.

  4. 4
    Advance

The group determines the appropriate collective action: professional-society collaboration, educational initiatives, practical resources, academic partnerships, shared gap analysis or other pre-competitive work.

04The partner follows the project

PrecisionCardio does not begin with a fixed roster of outside organizations.

Members determine the question first, then bring in the professional society, patient organization, academic group, clinical experts or other partners that particular work needs.

05Governance

Member-led by design.

PrecisionCardio is governed by its members and Board of Directors. The Board provides fiduciary and organizational oversight, while members help set priorities and participate in the work through PrecisionCardio's governance structure and working groups.

  • Members

Surface what they are seeing. Determine the shared priorities.

  • Board of Directors

Fiduciary and organizational oversight. Forming with the founding membership.

  • Member-led working groups

One per priority, with the partners the work needs.

Detailed voting, committee and governance provisions are contained in the Alliance's governing documents and membership materials.

06Pre-competitive boundaries

At the disease level, the challenge is shared.

Product-specific decisions are not.

PrecisionCardio does not coordinate product-specific clinical development, regulatory or commercial strategy, product positioning, pricing, contracting, market allocation or other competitively sensitive activity. Educational and scientific content is developed independently of member companies. Alliance activities will operate under appropriate antitrust and compliance procedures.

07Founding membership
