What kinds of work will members do together?
Members determine the priorities. Illustrative work could include professional-society education partnerships, clinician education, practical recognition or diagnostic resources, shared gap analyses, academic collaborations and other disease-level initiatives.
How are priorities chosen?
Members surface recurring challenges they are seeing and determine through PrecisionCardio's governance process which ones warrant collective attention. The program of work is member-selected rather than predetermined by staff.
How are external partners selected?
The priority comes first. Once members select a shared question, PrecisionCardio identifies the professional society, patient organization, academic group, clinical experts or other strategic partners best suited to help advance that work.
What does “pre-competitive” mean?
It means companies collaborate on questions that can appropriately be addressed at the disease or field level without coordinating how individual companies compete. Disease-level challenges may be shared; product-specific decisions remain with each company.
What is outside PrecisionCardio's scope?
Product-specific development decisions, product and commercial strategy, pricing, contracting and other competitively sensitive matters remain outside PrecisionCardio. Single-company promotional programs or work designed for the exclusive benefit of one member are also outside the model.
